Delicious Discoveries in Naga

We went to a lot of places in Naga. We visited most of the churches and went mountain climbing to visit a refreshing waterfall. We even watched a movie there for only P135.00 pesos! So we're definitely going back and part of the reason is to taste some local delicacies.

But for now, let me tell you and show you some of the other delicious gems we tasted there.

Big Treats in Biggs, Naga

Traveling to new places and tasting different delicacies is a dream past time of mine and I recently got to indulge in one such trip in Naga. Because we we're set on sightseeing more than the eating, we weren't able to sample the local food but we did get a taste of something new.

If we have Jollibee and McDonald's as fastfood staples here in Manila, in Naga, they have Bigg's Diner and you can find it in almost every corner of the city. I think it also has branches in other places in Bicol. So it was this place that we went to when we needed a bite and it's open 24 hours too.

Healthy Eating on a Budget @ Impressca

Going to the mall can be tiring even if you're just window shopping. So it becomes automatic to look for food once you feel the hunger pangs or you feel bored after looking at all the stuff you wish you could buy but can't at the the moment. At this point, one usually opts for fast food because, well, it's fast. But I'm glad to report that there are healthy alternatives making themselves available for the foodie who wants to eat healthy.

Since you've been doing some exercise walking around the mall anyway, why not walk your way to healthy food as well. I found one such place at The Block in SM North called Impressca at the 4th level.

Korean Foodie Treats @ Cubao Food Market

Hello blogosphere!

I'ts been so long since I posted - a year has passed by already (gasp!). The holidays kept me busy organizing stuff around the house and I'm glad to report that we're about 80% complete. So aside from organizing little by little, my new motto at home is "Out with the old, in with the new."

To fulfill this new guideline for stuff we keep around the house, I've purged some stuff and given some of them away. Some of them had sentimental value but then the memories would always be with me anyway so the physical stuff can go.

Anyway, on to the topic of this post.

Pizza Morning

On a lazy Thursday morning, I was craving for pizza. We have a pizza shop near our place but it was raining and I didn't want to go out in the cold. So I decided to make pizza my own at home but the easy way - without the dough.

Luckily, we had some Gardenia bread, some tomatoes and cheese. I also bought parsley from my last grocery trip so I had something green to top my pizza off.

Late Dinner @ Sancho

A month ago, a friend and me attended our guild's general assembly. It was a fun meeting and we even won prizes.

After the event, we decided to get dinner in one of our favorite foodie places - Sancho in Teacher's Village. We like that the small resto is convenient and has a cozy atmosphere especially on rainy nights and the food is delicious and affordable.

Fruit Magic Vegetarian Pizza and Smoothie Combo

Running errands in the middle of the hot afternoon sun can be quite exhausting and makes one really go hungry. So after making my round of errands, I was looking for a mall to get into for some air conditioning and some snacks.

Shopwise branch near the area was a welcome sight and I was happy to just browse around the grocery store as I enjoyed the cooler air. After getting some respite from the heat, I had to satisfy my hunger next.
