Quaint and Cute Garden Plus Good Food in Bag of Beans, Tagaytay

Once we had done indulging our eyes with the various views of Mt. Batulao and exploring Chapel on the Hill in Nasugbu, Batangas, our tummies were eager to experience some delicious and filling food.

Floating umbrellas welcomed us at the entrance gate.

We headed straight away to one of the most popular restaurants in Tagaytay: Bag of Beans located at 115 Aguinaldo Highway. They have several branches but this one is the biggest and also offers many picture-worthy spots. So we forgot our hunger for awhile as we admired the decorations and snapped away.

Our entrance was on a big side gate accessible from the parking lot. Colorful flowers and the big wooden gate already held a promise of something wonderful inside and as we went thru the gate, for a moment, it felt like we were entering Alice's wonderland.

Colorful bottles, plants, white chairs, wooden houses all gave off a very "pretty" vibe.

I wanted to go inside and explore.

Maybe this can be reserved for a celebration?

After craning our necks for the floating umbrellas and colorful bottles and tiring our fingers from all the picture-taking we did, we were ready to sit down to a good meal.

The ambiance was that of a fine dining restaurant but the open space and decor also had the vibe of a cozy, family restaurant. There was a lot of seating available and many cozy corners where you can still feel intimate with your family and friends despite sharing the open space with other customers. We ended up ordering one of the most portable food on earth: pizza!

It took a while for our pizza to arrive so we just listened to some music and feasted our eyes some more on the quaint and cute decors.

One huge pizza for 3 hungry persons = winner!

The pizza was large and had a thin crust. But the toppings made it thicker and heavy on the tummy. There were 3 of us hungry folks and we still had 2 slices left over. It was that filling and very delicious! (Alas, I don't remember the name of the pizza.)

Other things we really liked aside from the amazing decor and ambiance were the friendly and accommodating staff. They were all busy serving a lot of customers but they were not to busy to answer some of our questions. They also had a store where you can buy delicacies to bring home as pasalubong.

After we devoured our pizza, we felt that we needed to use up some of the calories we just downed, so on we went to our next destination.
