SiningSaysay - Visual Guide to Philippine History

"A picture paints a thousand words" so goes the saying and one Saturday morning, I saw how pictures, paintings in particular, do just that for Philippine history.

The SiningSaysay: Philippine History in Art exhibit opened last Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Gateway Gallery in Cubao, Quezon City. As an exhibit dedicated solely to works of art depicting a nation's history, it is the first of its kind in the country.

Christchurch Children Tell Their Story in New Zealand Earthquake Photo Exhibit

The New Zealand Embassy, in cooperation with UNICEF, is bringing to Manila the photography exhibition entitled “Christchurch: See Through My Eyes”.

“This is my Earthquake Dog. We adopted her after February 22nd.”

The exhibition showcases photographs taken by 24 children from Christchurch, New Zealand, and illustrates how the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes affected their lives and communities.

One Town, One Product Exhibit @ SM Megatrade Hall

Office field work is a rare occasion for me so it was a refreshing break from desk work to go to an exhibit in Megamall. The exhibit was called the One Town, One Product Exhibit or O.T.O.P. for short.


This project was one of the initiatives of the former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. The goal of this project is to provide livelihood for all the regions producing different products and to highlight each region's unique produce or craft.
